Cans for Comments

I am beyond swamped with emails, wedding photos, and album designs, so I'll have to make this quick!!

When I get a little email in my inbox that says someone took the time to comment on my blog, it really brightens my day. Every thoughtful comment you leave makes such a difference to me. So in return, I'd like to brighten other people's days and make a difference by donating one can of food per comment I receive on here for the next 15 days. At the end of the 15 days, I will donate cans of food to my local food bank here in Charleston WV.

I will also be making donations to the Charleston Animal Shelter (because I love love love all my furry friends!!) AND the Children's Therapy Clinic. I'll be donating a dollar per comment, so on December 16th I'll add up all the comments and half of the money will go to the Animal Shelter and the other half will go to the Children's Therapy Clinic.

It can be easy to take things for granted. The clothes on our back, the food in our bellies, our healthy children and pets. So many people and animals aren't so lucky.

This is something you can do to help out without putting forth much effort at all - just poke around on my blog and if you like what you see, leave a little note. Your little note could end up being a meal for someone in a few weeks - how cool is that?

Thank you for your continued support and kind words! Now go off and comment for a good cause!!

I love this idea! I feel the same way about comments! They make my day - especially when I am swamped. Perhaps my next blog post will be the same thing. I am sure this is an idea you don't mind having stolen :)

And if you need help with album design....let me know :) I am running a holiday special until 12.4 midnight EST!

you are so clever and such a good samaritan! I am so happy you are doing this, for everyone really needs to sit back and remember the true meaning of the Holidays and what giving is really about! You give love in every single one of your pictures and I am so thankful to know a great person with a big heart! =)

What a wonderful person you are, Emily. I truly believe a person's character (or soul, depending on if you're spiritual) shines through their work, and your's certainly does in a big and amazing way! Kudos to you for doing this.

Hey Emily I just wanted to make a comment about the photo session you had of my son...I could not be more pleased with the all of the pictures you captured. Not only did you get great shots of him smiling, but you really captured his personality. He makes so many faces and has so many different emotions, and you were able to capture all of them. So thank you very much for the photo session, it was incredible!!
